Chynna Adams, CPDT-KA

Senior Trainer

Chynna joined Thunderhawk Canine in May of 2019. Growing up, she had many exotic animals, but found her true love for dogs when she started fostering and rescuing animals with a local rescue. Over the course of two years, Chynna fostered 30 dogs, helped with transport to Connecticut, allocate funds, and processed applications for the rescue. Although her love for dogs was already present, her love and need for more training knowledge was inspired by her dog Stella, a pit/catahoula.

In her first year at Thunderhawk, she has dedicated herself to getting to know everyone in the Thunderhawk family, keeping our facilities clean, assists with kennel work, learning different training techniques, and assisting with the inboard program. Chynna is currently enrolled in continuing education courses at Fenzi Dog Sports Academy.

Within the next year, Chynna plans on taking the CPDT and hopes to begin teaching group classes and be more involved with community outreach at Thunderhawk.

Chynna is also a wife and mother, a den leader for Pack 651, and is seeking a double bachelors degree in accounting and finance and Tennessee Tech University. After graduating, she plans on putting her degree to use during tax season and still remain at Thunderhawk long term to continue to follow her passion.
